LM-5B	Trumpet CUP CHARACTERISTICS: RIM CHARACTERISTICS: THROAT BORE: This mouthpiece has a high point that is set a little further in toward the inner diameter. It is loosely based on an early Elkhart Bach 6B. Many players playing a mouthpiece of this size switch back and forth between a small mouthpiece and a bigger one, so this piece was designed with them in mind. The cup is a little deeper than the 1 1/2 and the 3. It also has the same back-bore and hole size as the 1 1/2 and the 3 so it retains similar characteristics, but with a slightly more compact darker sound.
